Wildwood: New Vision, 2007 - 2027
Wildwood’s rich legacy was created by all the men and women whose lives have been transformed by their experience of this place.

The restructuring and infrastructure building that has taken place over the past several years now provides Wildwood with a window of opportunity to progress and grow. We have the foundation in place to make Wildwood a center of record for healing and spiritual transformation on the West Coast.

In fulfillment of our conservation mission, Wildwood will need to evolve so that it provides a sanctuary for all forms of life. To meet this challenge, Wildwood must also expand in terms of acreage, capital, membership, alliances, facilities and infrastructure.

Wildwood, 2007 - 2027

  • Within 2 years, Wildwood will be in a state of institutional readiness, meeting all criteria for receiving grants, funding programs, and attracting donors to fund our capital development plan.
  • Within 3 years, Wildwood will run programming with a clear Wildwood identity and brand.
  • Within 5 years, Wildwood will be home to 5 cutting-edge leaders in the fields of personal growth, spiritual transformation, and response to the planetary crisis.
  • Within 5 years, Wildwood will run eco-tourism and nature conservancy programs for children, youths and adults, making the land available as a community resource.
  • Within 10 years, Wildwood will establish itself as the West Coast center of record for experiential learning and personal transformation. In so doing, Wildwood will partner with brother and sister organizations in an alliance that sustains learning traditions from indigenous to modern, and provides solutions and models for the changing planetary reality.
  • Within 10 years, Wildwood will hold in trust an endowment in excess of 10 million dollars, income from which provides for ongoing capital improvements and maintenance.
  • Within 20 years, the Wildwood Conservation Foundation realize its commitment to its vision of 'sanctuary' through acquisition of land grants that would extend from the top of the peak where Wildwood now resides to the Pacific shore. These grants would establish Wildwood as a sanctuary for ecosystems, plant species and animal habitats as well as for people.
  • Within 20 years, Wildwood will hold in trust an endowment in excess of 20 million dollars, income from which provides for ongoing capital improvements and maintenance.
